Malaysia cassava residue dehydration project for export of press machine
Cassava dehydration has a wide range of industrial value. The primary processed products of cassava include cassava granules, cassava chips, and cassava starch. Cassava granules can be used as animal feed. Cassava chips can be used as raw materials for the production of industrial alcohol, vinegar, citric acid, and ethyl acid. Cassava starch can be used as an important raw material for industrial products such as food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, adhesives, textiles, papermaking, coatings, dyes, plywood, sugar production, monosodium glutamate, and antibacterial drugs. In addition, the tender stems, branches, and leaves of cassava can also be used to feed animals such as poultry, livestock, fish, and silkworms.
In recent years, the development and utilization of new feed resources have been highly valued, and research on using cassava residue as a feed raw material will also become one of the hotspots. This study selected fresh and wet cassava residue as the main raw material, added water absorbing agents and N sources, and investigated the fermentation effects of different combinations of Aspergillus niger, beer yeast, and Candida albicans on cassava residue feed. The changes in their nutritional value were compared in order to find suitable biological treatment methods to improve the nutritional value of cassava residue.
